2025 Writing Contest Winners

In 2025, In the ESOL Classroom ran an national writing contest for all English language learners (ELLs) in grades 7-12–regardless of their proficiency level, immigration status, or native language.

Students were invited to explore themes of identity, culture, language, heritage, and/or immigration by answering the question: “Who am I?”
